Frequently asked questions
-
First, we ask that you take our Warrior Pledge. Next, we ask pledgeres to take steps to advocate for mental health awareness in their own wrestling community. This can look like wearing the Pledge Shirt to practice or tournaments, checking on teammates, reading or watching materials we post online, or taking time for selfcare.
-
All are welcome! We have pledgers across the country ranging from elementary age to college. We also welcome pledge parents to join us and help support their wrestlers! Anyone willing to uphold to our values and advocate for our cause can join us.

"Daily, I will...
Stand up for what is right, speaking boldly
Protect those who cannot protect themselves
Support my fellow wrestlers and community
Remind others its ok to pause; but not quit; there is more to their story
I am one; but connected, we are many."
-
Yes, we are here to support. Ways that we have been involved include speaking engagements at camps/clubs/schools, helping coaches through the loss of their wrestler and understanding next steps, helping to design memorial shirts, sending out our mantra bands to teams and more.
-
Support comes in a variety of ways! Word of mouth has been our number one way to recruit more pledgers and minister to more wrestlers. Additional ways include:
Telling our story—using our board kits to advertise at tournaments, clubs, etc
Sponsorships— we would love the opportunity to partner with new sponsors and vendors
Donations—your donations will help us be able to provide discounts for pledgers in need, offer scholarships at the end of wrestling season, cover our administrative expenses like this website, print off grief and other mental health awareness packets, and more.
Take us with you!—we love seeing our purple shirts travel the world. Send us your photos as you tackle new things and travel.
Combat for Connection—daily fight to make those positive connections with those around you. Your one smile can save a life, your listening ear can encourage someone to continue on, and your empathy can be contagious!
